“We're Asbestos Buddies Now!”

Months before this we had removed and secured a lot of asbestos wrapped ductwork from our old house. We double and triple-bagged it in 6 mil plastic, and had stored it out of the way, waiting until I got the paperwork in order for us to haul it to a landfill and dispose of it. The day finally came, and it was oddly liberating. We has this toxic junk sitting next to our house for months, both an eyesore and a reminder of an upleasant and possibly unhealthy task. And it wasn't finished. So this day was a pretty great minor step towards our future. Our hacking, breathless, non-insured due to pre-existing conditions future… DIY this, suckers! =)
