I want to upgrade my camera, a Nikon d200, but I'm waiting for Nikon to announce some upgrades to the new one I like - a d700. Once I do upgrade, my current favorite lens will be a good bit less useful. So I went ahead and bought a new "walking around" lens, which isn't quite as useful *now* but will be when I get a new camera body.
Anyway, I spent the first day taking some test shots at work and home. It's a nice lens, but the zoom ring rotates in the opposite direction of my other lenses, so I'm always going the wrong way in my compositions. These aren't awesome shots or anything, but I wanted some to compare when I got the new camera.
