“For the love of Pete, will this ceiling ever be done?”
Our church roof is made up of two intersecting rooflines (a cross shape, shockingly). This intersection produces 4 valleys or corners on the interior shape of the roof/ceiling. These corners are are about 20 feet in length up to the peak of the ceiling, and as with any old building, aren't entirely straight. As a result, the nice white pine ceiling we've built doesn't meet up at these corners very cleanly or attractively. So we need to hide the rough edges, and that's when we learn to love trim.
