“The Old Power Plant”

An old building I wanted, couldn't get, then got. Be careful what you wish for.
This was the power plant that provided heat and light for a series of buildings in an area known as the Illinois Soldiers & Sailors Compound. It ended its life as a power plant some time ago, and sat unused for many years. I made some calls at one point to figure out if I could buy it and make an awesome house out of it, but failed miserably in the attempt. Eventually some pretty creative folks bought it and made about 30% of it into a residence, leaving the rest bare to the walls.
My brother & I bought it, and we're converting it to office space for our business.
