s of about 5:35am this morning my brother and his wife are new parents, all over again. They've already got twin 4 year old boys, and now they have a pretty adorable little girl to add to their collection. Sally and I can breathe a collective sigh of relief as we can continue acting like children rather than having a few of our own, at least for a while. I have to officially admit defeat at the hands of Sally's mom though, who stridently proclaimed it would be a girl weeks ago, even in the face of my strongest refutations. She called it. Now that the baby is here, I'm okay being wrong.
There's no name yet for the little one, but there are plenty of people documenting every breath she takes. She was 7 pounds, 12oz, and I don't recall the length. I measure things in board-feet these days anyhow, and I don't know how to do the conversion.
Anyhow, I'm back in the office, and doing lots of important work, like typing this post and processing some photos from the hospital. Go ahead and take a look.

Congratulations. Girls are wonderful. (Except when they're whining, arguing with their friends, out on dates with boys, etc... hmm... can you tell it's been a fun summer in my house that contains a 14 year old girl?)
